Meet Our Pastor

Pastor David A. Denny graduated from Cedarville College in Cedarville, Ohio in 1978. He worked as a counselor at Shepherd's Home in Union Grove, Wisconsin from 1978 to 1981 before attending Baptist Bible Seminary in Clark's Summit, PA. He graduated from BBST in 1986 with a Master of Divinity degree.

Pastor Denny served as the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Cadosia, NY from 1986 until 1996. In 1988 he was ordained to the gospel ministry. During his years in New York, in addition to pastoring the church, he also worked as an administrator for the Arc of Delaware County.

In January 1997 the Denny's moved to Caldwell, OH where Pastor Denny served as the pastor of New Harmony Baptist Church. While there, he was active in

leadership of the East Moriah regional fellowship of the Ohio Association of Regular Baptist Churches. In October of 2007 Pastor Denny was elected to serve on the council of twelve for the Ohio fellowship.

In November of 2007 Pastor Denny accepted the unanimous call of Whipple

Avenue Baptist Church to become their pastor. He began his ministry at WABC on December 16, 2007. Pastor Denny's vision for Whipple Avenue Baptist Church is, "a loving church family that is a center for biblical exposition and

intentional biblical evangelism."
